This survey is conducted within the framework of the Biobank.ro project as part of a research initiative that examines current practices, experiences, needs and challenges associated with the use of biological samples and health data in biomedical and pharmaceutical research.
The survey is intended for researchers, clinicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals, biobank users, and other professionals with experience in accessing or using biological samples and/or health data for research purposes.
The survey addresses questions about biological samples and research data, data quality, technical and logistical considerations, ethical and regulatory requirements, costs, support services, and future research needs.
The findings will inform the identification of key needs and challenges within the research community and guide the development of biobank resources and services tailored to these requirements.
The aggregated results will contribute to a scientific publication. All responses will be analysed in aggregate, ensuring that no personally identifiable information is disclosed, and will be processed in compliance with applicable GDPR requirements.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.
